Certified Organics?
Oakdale Organics is BioGro Certified Organic. There are plenty of "organically grown" seedlings available. Most of which are good and generally better that massed
produced sprayed seedlings you find in your garden centre.
However "organically grown" doesn't necessarily mean it’s fully
organic.
This means we are annually audited by an independent body - BioGro.
For each audit we must provide evidence that we have organic inputs and organic
growing practices.
So we can guarantee you have a 100% organically grown product.

| Heirloom?
"Heirloom" is the original species that was grown
during earlier periods in human history. Most of these are not used in modern
large-scale agriculture. Typically, heirlooms have adapted over time to
whatever climate and soil they have grown in.
Due to their genetics, they are often more resistant to local pests,
diseases, and extremes of weather.
Heirloom must contain no genetically modified
organisms.
Without the ongoing growing and storage of heirloom plants, seed companies and governments
will control all seed distribution. So it’s important that we all support
open and freely propagated seedlings.
98% of Oakdale Organics product is heirloom. We only source non-heirloom
where we have no other choice.
